Hello. My name is Cinnamon and I’m a chestnut pony. I am very sensitive and caring and love to teach children how to ride. I am what some call a “school master”, which means that I am easy to ride and I can take a joke. For example, I don’t get mad if a beginner kicks me too hard or jerks me in the mouth. I know that is all part of the learning process. I have patience. Cinnamon is fully posable with legs that bend at the shoulder, knee and ankle. Cinnamon’s neck can bend from side to side and its mouth opens.

How do i teach natural horsemanship?

I want to teach my pony NH… but idk how…
i want to ride him bareback bridal-less…lol
so how do i…i kno like the tricks and how to teach them but not bridal-less…
Ok i can ride bareback bareback! and in a halter and leadrope. but once i take awy the halter he takes off. so how do i keep him under control once i take away the halter. and how do i teach him like to steer with my legs.

before you take the halter/lead rope off, teach him to yield to leg pressure. do this before riding brideless, because when you are bridleless, you communicate with your seat and legs so your horse needs to understand how to respond to your body. also, before you start riding bridless, do some liberty stuff. play with him in a round pen without a halter or anything on the ground.
the parelli program is the best way to go because they show you how to play on line, at liberty, freestyle (loose reins or no reins), and finesse (riding with collection).

Daniel came to help me with my volunteer work at the stables, and got a pony ride at the end, he loved it so much it turned into a riding lesson. he’s pretty good for a 5yr old beginner!

what should my son be wearing to horseback ridding lessons?

My son who is 5 jusst started horse back ridding lessons he is learning english what should he be wearing and where can i get it at a decent price.

1) Helmet,any kind will do(w/o embarrassment of course). If you are going to a riding stable they should supply them.
If the riding is casual that should do,most riding horses are used to it. Have fun, I have three and one is a riding pony,the kids love it. Good luck.
