Going on a road trip, need to find a city that has everything. Excellent dining, beautiful views and zip lining,horseback riding and rafting all in one. (summertime) Thanks

Anywhere on the Arkansas River and you can't go wrong! Canon City is the closest to the Colorado Springs and Denver areas. The Whitewater Rafting there is great as there are many different options for trip level of difficulty and length. In other words, you can raft anything from class II in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, to class V in the Royal Gorge which is a must see. Trip lengths vary from half-day to overnight multi-day trips. The Gorge also has "The Sky Coaster" which is a swing that will send you soaring over the rim with about 1300 feet of air beneath you! My daughter is an 11 yr old girl and she is totally animal crazy. Our neighbor is already taking them and she loves them. She also convinced my daughter to ask me for the lessons because they are animal lovers and both like to ride horses. Should I let her? She is crazy about this type of stuff.

If there's not a good reason that you do not want to let her, then sure. If she's so crazy about it, then let her give it a try.
